Description:

The S.N.A.K.E. [System: Neutralizer - Armed Kloaking Equipment] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1983. The toy was also sold in 1984 and was discontinued in 1985.

Easily Broken/Lost Pieces:

Note that the S.N.A.K.E. is molded in white plastic than can sometimes become discolored yellow. Some factors known to cause the discoloration include exposure to direct sunlight for an extended period of time, humidity, contact with chemicals (such as glue or tape), and bright artificial light.


Variations:

There are no known variations of the S.N.A.K.E.


Vehicle Construction:

The vehicle mold was repainted or retooled for the following vehicles:

The mold was reused to create a tiny portion of the Defiant "crawler transport" vehicle.


International Releases:

In Europe in the early 1980s, the S.N.A.K.E. was recolored in dark red and renamed the Escape Armour as part of the Action Force.

In India in the early 90s, the S.N.A.K.E. was recolored in gray.
