The WOLF [Winter Operational Light Fighting Vehicle] was first released boxed in U.S. toy stores in 1987. It included the driver, Ice Viper. The Cobra WOLF was also sold in 1988 and was discontinued domestically in 1989.

This was the only version of the WOLF ever released.

Ice Viper was released as part of the sixth series (1987), packaged exclusively with the WOLF [Winter Operational Light Fighting Vehicle]. He was also sold in 1988, then was discontinued domestically in 1989.
At some point later, he was also available mail-order from Hasbro Direct.

The gun is easily lost along with the side skis. The tabs for the canopies are prone to breakage, handle with care.
